SR. STAFF ENGINEER (11025)

Location: Houston, TX

Education: BS degree in Engineering is required with a Mechanical discipline preferred.

Experience: Minimum of fifteen (15) years of  topside engineering experience

Description:

Topside lead in the development of new facilities and lead for the support of the existing Offshore facilities for required changes, upgrades, expansion, and daily operational issues.

  • Support of existing offshore facilities with respect to daily topside issues. This will involve the process train, subsea chemical injection systems, platform utility systems, topside chemical injection system, and E & I.
  • Lead engineer for all topside systems changes, including upgrades and expansion. Duties will include engineering management, procurement oversight, and installation planning
  • Provide engineering support for third party tie backs to Murphy facilities and Murphy tie backs to other host facilities
  • Lead Topside engineer for the development of new offshore platform facilities. Primary contact with contractor for topside development and engineering
  • Prepare AFE packages  for topside work as required.  Perform preliminary economic evaluation.


Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.
