Sergipe-Alagoas Basin

Murphy holds a 20% non-operated working interest in nine blocks spanning more than 1.6 million acres, with ExxonMobil as operator and 50% working interest owner. Enauta Energia S.A. holds the remaining 30% working interest. More than 2.8 billion barrels of oil equivalent have been discovered in the basin, with material opportunities identified on Murphy-owned blocks. The partnership plans to drill its first exploration well in this basin in 2021.
