Christopher C. Olson serves as Senior Vice President, Exploration and Subsurface of Murphy Exploration & Production Company. Olson joined the Company in 2018 as General Manager, Gulf of Mexico Exploration, progressing through roles of increasing responsibility. In 2022, he was named Vice President, Exploration. Olson assumed his current role in 2025. Olson holds a bachelor’s degree in Geology from Colgate University as well as a master’s degree in Geology from Texas A&M University.
