Molly W. Smith

Molly W. Smith serves as Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer of Murphy Exploration & Production Company. Smith joined the Company in 2010 as Sr. Completions Engineer, progressing through roles of increasing responsibility. In 2022, she was named Vice President, Drilling and Completions. Smith assumed her current role in 2025. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California as well as an Executive Master of Business Administration from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Smith completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School as well as Wharton Finance for Executives program from the University of Pennsylvania.
